EventHive Launches Invite-Only Beta at Shotput Ventures' Inaugural Demo Day

EventHive, a software solution that facilitates live discussion among audiences and speakers during presentations, launched its invitational beta today at the Shotput Ventures' Demo Day.


Conference presentations typically take the form of monologues with a passive audience who quickly become disengaged and fall prey to E-mail and other distractions. EventHive keeps participants engaged with the presenter and the rest of the audience by providing interactive tools accessible via laptops and mobile phones. The tools included in the EventHive Beta include:


  • Live Polling: Speakers using EventHive's polling will be able to gather feedback and gauge understanding in real-time during their presentation. Live poll results can be displayed in a PowerPoint presentation without additional equipment or software.

  • Continuous Q&A: Audience members using EventHive's continuous Q&A can ask questions, post comments, and share information directly from their seats.
